On 27 December 2018, a highly engaging and informative, orientation academic and discussion session was organized by College of Nuclear Science and Technology (CNST) and China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC). This meeting was attended by Director Department of International Exchange and Cooperation, Zhiqiang LIU, Vice Dean College of International Cooperative Education (CIEC), Xuezhong DING, Dean College of Nuclear Science and Technology, Hong XIA, Vice Dean College of Nuclear Science and Technology, Puzhen GAO, Graduate School Deputy Director, Jiaquan SI and various international students’ advisors, international students, staff of CNST and CIEC.

The orientation was hosted by  Vice Dean of CNST, Puzhen GAO. She introduced the session's theme and HEU team briefly. Dean of CNST  Hong XIA, gave a welcome for the arrival of CNNS on behalf of the college. Deputy Director-General, Department of International Affairs SHEN, made a speech, and introduced the participants from CNNC. After that, the international student participants gave their introductions briefly.

The presentations were mainly around the nuclear power technology development, nuclear safety and nuclear technology application. After the presentations, the audience and speakers engaged in deeply interactive and friendly discourse.

Finally, all participants took a group photo in front of the International Exchange Center.
