In order to strengthen the fire safety education and enhance teachers and students' awareness of fire safety and self-rescue ability, the College of Nuclear Science and Technology(CNST) invited Director Han Xifeng from Harbin Weimin Security and Protection Advisory Centre for Education to carry out a campus fire safety lecture in the afternoon, 7th November. The theme of this lecture is everyone pays attention to fire protection, and life safety is most important”. The theme of this fire safety lecture is “be concerned about fire safety, life safety first.”
Secretary Peng Zongde of the CNST chaired the fire safety lecture, and introduced the purpose and significance of this lecture.He hoped everyone could improve their fire safety ability.
In the lecture, Director Han gave a key explanation on the ways and announcements of the alarm, common sense of self-rescue, the usage of fire extinguishers and other basic fire fighting knowledge. Through the demonstration and case analysis, he made a detailed explanation and analysis on fire fighting knowledge such as the causes of fire in life, common knowledge of campus electricity, electric fire prevention, and common fire and treatment methods. The wonderful lecture was welcomed by everyone, and also won the applause of teachers and students.
This lecture on fire safety strengthens the safety awareness of teachers and students, enhances the self-help ability of teachers and students, strengthens the safety education work of the college, and plays a positive role in promoting the establishment of a safe and harmonious campus.
