From June 18 to 20, 2019, under the leadership of Professor Xia Hong, Dean of the College of Nuclear Science and Technology, six teachers and students of our college went to Shanghai to attend the Fifth China (International) Nuclear Power Instrument Control Technology Congress.
The China (International) Nuclear Power instrument Control Technology Conference is an international conference jointly sponsored by the China Institute of Instruments and the China Nuclear Society in order to comply with the trend of the great development of nuclear power in China and promote the upgrading of nuclear power instrument and control technology level and in line with international standards.Under the theme of Safety, Green, Cooperation and Innovation, the conference was sponsored by China instrument Association, China Nuclear Society, Shanghai Industrial Automation instrument Research Institute Co., Ltd., Shanghai instrument automatic Control system Inspection and testing Institute Co., Ltd., Xi'an Central Nuclear Instrument Co., Ltd., China Nuclear instrument Systems Engineering Co., Ltd., Beijing GuangLi Nuclear system Engineering Co., Ltd.This conference had been divided into three sections, the general report meeting,sub-forums (nuclear power instrument control technology, standards, maintenance and other 10 topics) and technical visits.
Teachers and students of our college made academic reports and actively participated in academic exchanges at the Fifth China (International) Nuclear Power instrument and Control Technology Congress.On June 19, Professor Xia Hong, Dean of our college, was invited by the Organizing Committee of the Congress to make a special report entitled introduction to the training of Nuclear Power talents in China. The report covered the present situation of the training of nuclear power professionals in China and the demand for talents in the development of nuclear power in China.On the morning of June 20, four students in our college reported on the four topics of Design and Research of Nuclear Power instrument Control system, Design and Verification of Advanced Control Room and Human-Machine Interface, Advanced Measurement and Control Technology and Sensor and Nuclear Power instrument Control Frontier Technology.A total of 300 papers were received at this meeting, which were recommended by the special chairman and reviewed by technical experts of the conference. Among them, 29 were awarded the Outstanding Thesis Award of the Congress. Zhu Shaomin, a doctoral student, and Jiang Yingying, a post - graduate master student in our college, won the Outstanding Thesis Award.On the afternoon of June 20, the conference organized a technical visit, including EMC electromagnetic compatibility laboratory, flow laboratory, climate and environment laboratory, flameproof laboratory, intelligent manufacturing exhibition center. Through field demonstration and explanation, the development and existing achievements of nuclear power instrument control frontier technology in China showed intuitively.
By participated in this meeting, the exchange between Harbin Engineering University and domestic and international nuclear power instrument and control counterparts has been promoted, the personnel training, scientific research and academic level of Kazakh project have been publicized, outstanding talents in the same field have been met, and opportunities and possibilities have been created for future technical cooperation.
