Gao Puzhen, female, Han nationality, from Anshan, Liaoning Province and born in Haiyang County, Shandong Province. She joined the Communist Party of China in 1988 and started working in 1992. She holds a Master degree in Engineering Thermo-physics and a Doctor degree of Engineering in Marine Engineering from Harbin Engineering University, and is a professor and doctoral supervisor. From 2000 to 2001, she went to LEGI Laboratory of INPG University in Grenoble, France, for study of characteristics of flow and heat transfer in microchannels; from 2002 to 2003, she went to Hong Kong Polytechnic University for conducting cooperative research on fire safety engineering; and in 2012, she was appointed as Deputy Dean of College of Nuclear Science and Technology of Harbin Engineering University.
Research: Nuclear Power Plant Thermal Hydraulics, and Nuclear Power Plant Performance and Equipment
Teaching experience: the teaching of theoretical courses for and the guidance on thesis by undergraduates, graduates and doctoral students, having rich experience in the teaching practice of all aspects of college talent training.

Awards: she has won 4 provincial- and ministerial-level science and technology progress awards, and won university-level outstanding lecturer awards for many times.
Honors: she was rewarded with the titles of Advanced Individual in Construction of Provincial Education System Teachers’ Ethics, Advanced Individual in Construction of Provincial College Teachers’ Ethics, etc.
