On October 25th, it was held the first session of the Introduction and Nuclear Power Profile Country presentations by international students from the College of Nuclear Science and Technology (CNST). The first presenters were Dolzodmaa Dashdondog from Mongolia and Luis Fernando Salas Tapia from Colombia, both of them Master’s students. The purpose of these sessions is to introduce the culture, history, activities and nuclear power programs or applications of nuclear technology in each country, in order to familiarize and enhance the skills of the students at international level.
The sessions will continue until December 27th, representatives from 18 countries will talk about their nations. During the presentations, the participants will learn and provide prospective future personnel of nuclear power programmes in the Member States with technical knowledge and skills required for a safe, secure and sustainable nuclear power programme.
