Zhang Ling, female, Han ethnicity, member of the Communist Party of China, born in November 1969, holder of a doctoral degree, is a research librarian, and a visiting scholar at the Information Management Research Institute of Northumbria University, UK, and at the School of Library and Information Science, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. She has held various positions at Harbin Engineering University, including assistant librarian-librarian-associate research librarian in the Reference and Consultation Department of the Library, Director of the Information Service Department, Deputy Director of the Library, Party Secretary and Deputy Dean of the School of International Cooperation and Continuing Education, Party Secretary and Deputy Director of the Library, and President and Editor-in-Chief of Harbin Engineering University Press. In June 2022, she was appointed as the Party Secretary of the School of Nuclear Science and Technology.
